Can you believe we are nearing the end of the year?! I know that many of you may be thinking about things you want to change or better habits you want to build in the new year. Let us continue to help you!  Even if you don’t always find time to make all the recipes in a week, we hope that these emails serve as a gentle reminder that these recipes will always be there for you when you need them.


Here are your recipes:
· Lamb Rib Chops with Lemon-Mustard Mashed Rutabaga
· Roasted Spicy Celery Root and Cauliflower
· Roasted Turkey with Dates, Pecans and Red Cabbage
· Leek and Kale Scramble
· Pan Seared Scallops with Acorn Squash Puree and Crisp Apple


  • Acorn Squash, 1 large cut into roughly ½” cubes
  • Apple, 1/2 sm green sliced thin*
  • Cauliflower, 1 head cut into pieces
  • Celery root, 1 large cut into sm/med pieces
  • Dates, 4 large de-pitted and chopped
  • Kale, ½ bunch curly in pieces
  • Leek, 2 cut in half and sliced
  • Red cabbage, 1 sm head shredded
  • Rutabaga, 1 large cut into cubes
  • Thyme, 2 tbsp
  • Yellow onion, 1 sm diced
*Slicing on prep day will mean that the apple will brown a little; this isn’t a problem, but if you don’t like it browning wait to cut the apple until you need it. Optional
  • Pecans – if you didn’t buy them chopped, chop ½ cup
